LINDA in history:

Using the advanced Air Cavity Ship (ACS) system designed by Russian engineers in 1972, twin sisterships, active in the Caribbean, burn less than 2 gallons of fuel per nautical mile, at their cruising speed of 24 knots with a full compliment of 73 passengers and crew on board.
